INDOOR RANGE

The Sprague family is proud to offer Yuma shooters a clean, comfortable safe place to shoot, train and educate. The range facility is dedicated to the memory of George W. Sprague, a diehard shooter, competitor and gun enthusiast... and a great father, mentor and shooting coach to many of us. He would have loved this place.

YUMA YOUNG GUNS

If you are a young man or woman ages 9-15 who is enrolled in school and would like to get into the Scholastic Clay Target shooting program for shooting shotguns, call head coach H. McNutt at 580-2241. A great program for young people! Check this column next week for a report on one of the Young Guns members who is working very hard toward earning a spot on the USA Junior National Olympic Team with his ultimate goal to represent the United States in the Olympics in international skeet.

HIGH POWER RIFLE AND PISTOL CLUB OF YUMA, Inc.

Their main interest and motivation is to shoot both high-power rifles and pistols in competition and to carry on the tradition of marksmanship skills dedicated to the upcoming generation of shooters. They have a dedicated Junior Marksmanship program for anyone from the ages of 14 through 20 years old. We provide all equipment, training, and event fees for youth shooters, with funds generated by the club. All adult members pay for an annual membership and pay for all competitive matches they participate in. They hold rifle competitions, both long-range and accross the course. They also have a Vintage Rifle Match held at the 200 yard line every month as well. For more information on joining please contact Jerry Brooker at 858-349-1311 or email brookergerald@att.net.
